Who needs to use MTD software from April 2026?

Self-employed individuals and landlords with qualifying income above £50,000 must keep digital records and submit quarterly updates to HMRC using MTD-compatible software from April 2026. Those earning £30,000–£50,000 must comply from April 2027.
